Advocating Change...Affecting Generations!
Mercer County Juvenile Advisory Council, Inc (MCJAC)
You don't have to be a social worker or a lawyer, just someone that cares about helping a kid reach more positive outcomes for their futures.
If you are willing to commit some time to a youth in need, we would love to discuss a volunteer role that is right for you!.
Please fill out the form below and MCJAC staff will contact you with more information.
"We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."
---Franklin D. Roosevelt
mission & vision
MCJAC works to improve programs, services, and opportuntities for the youth of Mercer County through advocating, championing, and supporting youth-centered policies and through effective recruitment and placement of volunteers with local agencies and community programs.
MCJAC volunteers are carefully screened and trained before being matched to fill some gap in local agencies and community programs.
Volunteers must apply, interview, provide three reference letters, and submit all clearances.
Seminar / Training
Our human services training program saves professionals from having to travel outside of Mercer County for training events. We bring them to you!
Let us know what you'd like to learn, or who you'd like to hear speak.
